The vintage cars and motorbikes will pass by the Columbus Monument for the first time to avoid the construction works on La Rambla.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles will gather in Pla\u00e7a Sant Jaume<\/strong> on Sunday, April 6<\/strong>, starting at 9:00 a.m.<\/strong>, and the start will take place at 10:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caravan of the 67th Barcelona\u2013Sitges International Vintage Car Rally<\/strong> will take a route different from the traditional one. On April 6, the participants will leave Pla\u00e7a Sant Jaume<\/strong> towards Via Laietana<\/strong> via Jaume I Street<\/strong>, a change due to the renovation works on La Rambla<\/strong>, which currently has restricted traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, in this edition, the event will swap one of its most iconic images \u2014 the sidewalks of Ferran Street<\/strong> packed with spectators watching the historic cars and motorcycles \u2014 for a new and equally relevant image never seen in the 66 previous editions: driving past the Columbus Monument<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After passing the statue, the route connects to Avinguda Paral\u00b7lel<\/strong>, from Pla\u00e7a de les Drassanes<\/strong> to Pla\u00e7a Espanya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there, the itinerary follows its usual course along Gran Via<\/strong>, then Rambla Badal<\/strong>, the reference point for leaving Barcelona and connecting with the main towns of Baix Llobregat<\/strong>, beginning with Santa Eul\u00e0lia Street<\/strong> in L\u2019Hospitalet and reaching Castelldefels Beach<\/strong> via the C-245<\/strong>. Around 12:00 p.m.<\/strong>, they will reach the Garraf Coastal Road (C-31)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The C-31<\/strong> will be closed to traffic during the Rally\u2019s passage, with an expected arrival at the Sitges entrance roundabout at 12:30 p.m.<\/strong> From there, it follows last year\u2019s route directly toward San Sebasti\u00e1n Beach<\/strong>, where a brief regrouping will take place before the parade through the streets of Sitges, ending at Pla\u00e7a de la Fragata<\/strong> at 1:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles will remain on display under the church until around 5:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
